SpaceTogether has grown exponentially over the last year, with over 450 spaces on the platform. This new deal will bring significantly more spaces, up to 800, to the platform. Currently, the average lead is for an 8-hour timeframe over 14 months and worth $20k. This is expected to also grow as we introduce these new spaces to the platform.
You might be wondering what the actual deal entails, so here’s a quick breakdown:
- Advertising: SpaceTogether’s co-founder Brett Farrow has developed a system for advertising our unique space and time slots. We have a Current CPL of less than $5, and the industry average is over $115.
- Payment processing: One of the biggest issues for both providers and renters is payment related. Whether the issue is consistently late payments, payment amount disputes, or how to charge late fees, we handle all of this with our payment processor. This is optional to use;, however, to qualify for provider insurance or the payment guarantee, you must use our payment processor.
- License agreement: Organizations have used subleases to share commercial space for decades. However, one of the bigger issues we have found in signing a traditional sublease is that with a lease you have just given procession of the space. This does bind our providers to whatever terms are in the lease, leading to people you are at odds with having a legal right into your building. With a license you give “permission” to use the space, you can then write in your own custom “House Rules.”. The license gives our providers a bit more control, while encouragingas well as causes the renters to stay well within the guidelines.
- Regular SpaceTogether benefits: Our Beta users will have full access to the regular benefits of SpaceTogether, including space matching with space renters and document storage.
